Sizes of model horses

As we know, many people are interested in the sizes of model horses, we decided to show a short information concerning that information on our website.

traditional size - this is the biggest size of model horses and the ratio to real horses is about 1:10 (this may vary due to the specifics of that horse). The horses are approx. 9" high and 12" long.
Those horses are produced by Breyer and Peter Stone and mostly the Peter Stone models are a little bit bigger.

Gallery - porcelain models, that are a little bit bigger then the classic size horses.

Classic - Smaller then the traditional horses and only produced by Breyer. The horses are about 9" long and 6" high and the ratio to real horses is about 1:12

Pebbles - a little bit smaller then classic size and only procuced by Peter Stone. They are about 7" long and 6" high.

Ponies - similar size to the Pebbles models. They are only produced by Breyer and the have a synthetic mane and tail, that can be styled.

Paddock Pals - former known as Little Bits - are about 6" long and 5" high (ratio to real horses is about 1:24) and they are only produced by Breyer.

Schleich, Bully - German companies, that produces models from hard rubber. The models are about 5" long and 4" high.

Papo (France) and Safari (USA) produce rubber horses at similar size to Schleich and Bully.

Stablemates - the minimum of all listed sizes here; the ratio to real horses is 1:32 (4" long and 3" high) and they are produced by Breyer.

Please note, all dimension are approximatley and there can be variations in both directions up and down. There are many other models produced by other companies with different sizes to the listed ones.
The listed dimension are in total and they can also be influenced by the bearing of the horse.

The model horses are regular produced with cellulose acetate.
